So... a new custom WIP...

...and *part* of the reason that Mandarin Spawn isn't done yet...

I saw this Snake Eyes custom that Battlemonkey did on Fwooshnet a few weeks ago, where he used a Bullseye from ML for a base... which proved to be a PERFECT base figure for Snake Eyes... among many others (have I mentioned I've bought like 6 Bullseyes?) [img]wink.gif[/img]

So anyhoo... I got to work right away at making my own, heavily influenced by his, but I took my own liberties. Here's the finished (pre-sanding) version of mine. He's since been primed all black, and I just have to finish painting him... he's about 15% painted so far.

SnakeEyes2 WIP

I know there's a gajillion Snake Eyes customs, but he's one of my favorite characters of all time... and he's not going for sale, just to augment my collection. A Snake Eyes figure I'd never get otherwise, I like to think of it.

Oh, and the scabbard is attached with a high-powered rare earth magnet, so it's easily removable, and doesn't go anywhere when affixed.

I'll show final pics when he's all done...

It looks a lot different once in all black, and ties him all together... he almost looks done like this, but there's a lot of painting and detail left...

OH - and if you look closely, in the background, you may see a few more reasons Mandy isn't done yet.... [img]wink.gif[/img]
